Using Apxor’s Behaviour correlation framework, News Plus could find their north star metric that led them to higher engagement. Users who read similar articles were spending more time on the app. Based on this insight, News Plus decided to make their 360° feature more discoverable. By clicking on the 360° button users can see articles related to what they have been reading. But showing this feature to all users was not ideal. Nudge users in the right time to use 360° feature.


The context set for News Plus was to segment those users who have read two news items with similar content, and nudge them in real time to click on the 360° button.


They used Apxor’s action framework to make their 360° feature discoverable to such users. Tool tips effectively nudged them to click on the 360° button.


By nudging users to discover the 360° feature, News Plus doubled its user engagement instantaneously.
